Buzz-Worthy Case Study: Fans of FiOS

The Challenge: Verizon FiOS entered the New York area amidst stiff competition from Time Warner and CableVision. They knew that they had customers who loved their product, but they needed to get the word out, and wanted to dip their toes into a viral marketing strategy.

The Solution:

Fans of FiOS!


theKbuzz created a Brand Ambassador Program, recruiting 175 “Fans of FiOS”. They asked Fans to submit entries to win a FiOS Fan party, focused around an upcoming television event. Twenty parties across the
New York Region will be hosted by Fios fans.

The Result: 175 loyal fans spreading their love of Fios. The program is scheduled to conclude in Fall 2008...in the meantime, check out our featured FoF contest entry:
